CC Energy Development S.A.L. (CCED) is a privately owned Lebanese upstream oil and gas exploration and production company that, through its associated companies, has over 20 years of exploration, development, and production experience in the oil and gas industry both as an operating and non-operating co-venture partner with major international oil companies. CCED seeks to become a leading Middle Eastern independent exploration and production company by developing its oil and gas business in a manner that delivers sustainable economic growth and development whilst respecting its commitment to safety, protecting and preserving the environment, and benefiting the broader group of stakeholders including the local communities. CCED operates onshore Blocks 3 & 4 in Oman in which it is partnered with Tethys Oil of Sweden and Mitsui of Japan. The licence for the blocks was acquired in 2008 and drilling commenced in 2009 followed by early production in 2010 and commercial declaration in December of 2012.
